Storm Trooper!

Max loves Star Wars. But somewhere along the way I think he got the story line a bit wrong.

The Storm Trooper is his favorite. And he always wins.

He plays with these figures for hours.

But there's no question in his mind who's the best.

Should I be worried he may be pulled to the dark side?

Logan Pool

Memorial day was cold and rainy, Tuesday Cache Valley woke up to snow, but by Saturday it was 80 degrees and a perfectly sunny day for the pool. My cousins Shoni and Jalane came with their kids and my sister Nicole came with her kids and we had such a fun time.

Last year Grace wouldn't leave the edge of the pool and Max stayed close by, but this year Max wanted to run with the big kids and Grace dared to lay on her tummy and go down the slide. It's amazing what one year will do for a growing little one.

I had to snap this picture, I love all the people in the pool (none of which were family, as they would kill me) with the snowy mountains in the background! Makes me smile.

Oh, and I got so fried. My back, shoulders and upper arms actually peeled and that hasn't happened in over 10 years, seriously I usually burn and go tan with a day or two, but I was sore for almost a week, crazy!

Hide-n-Peek

Tonight we were deciding what to do for dinner and ended up doing a U-turn into an Arctic Circle. I really didn't want to make dinner, I really really really didn't want to go to a restaurant with my kids so a play place sounded good to me. There was only one other boy there the whole time and the kids made good friends with him. (Minus the 4 times I had to pull Max away for pushing....what am I going to do with him?)

After a while Grace and Rownan wanted to play hide and seek. They told Max to count. I don't think he's ever played before, but being the good sport Max is, he played along. At first he just stood there but Rownan said to go over to the other side of the room and count. Max moved and then covered his mouth and started counting, then he yelled "I'm coming" and ran right to the little boy, excitedly he said "I found you!"

It made me laugh, he stood there covering his mouth watching exactly where the older kids went to hide. Love my little guy.
