We had Thanksgiving with Mike's dad's family this year - wow, Thanksgiving seems like so long ago, but really only 3 weeks, can that be right?
I love Thanksgiving, a chance to gorge - catch up with family and prepare to burn off those calories with some early Black Friday shopping!
After dinner Mike and I drove up to spend the night at my sisters in Hyrum. I honestly got maybe an hour worth of sleep that night and then we were off to the races, we hit Old Navy, Wal-mart, Smiths Marketplace and Kohls, and then I was still to work by 9am, in Ogden! It made for a long day, but it was a good day!
We have so much to be thankful for, and sometimes I need a reminder like Thanksgiving to see how blessed I am. I'm so thankful for my family, our home, our jobs and the wonderful community we live in.

You had to work that day? Crazy! I would have rather stayed home and slept. Thanks for getting me the baby doll! We really dont know how blessed we are. When I see children starving and babies laying in beds in orphanages I realize how selfish and blessed I am and I really cant believe how lucky we are to live and have the families we do! One year we should rent the civic center and do a big thanksgiving together, that would be fun!
