It had rained most of the morning, but by the time we got there it was a lovely day. I've never been when it was so empty, and it was awesome!

Grandma saves the day
One day last week we got a phone call from Grandma Kate, she was in Salt Lake for a meeting my dad had to attend. I hadn't been feeling well for several days and I was just sick of being sick - so we happily met at the Gateway for lunch. After lunch we headed to Hogle Zoo, one last visit before our year pass expired.
It had rained most of the morning, but by the time we got there it was a lovely day. I've never been when it was so empty, and it was awesome!
I have to say, Grandma getting up on the carousel, I was pretty impressed.
I however was thankful Max chose the peacock - no climbing or standing for me!
We didn't stay long, but it was sure a nice little visit! Glad we could enjoy it with my mom :) It made my head hurt a little less for a few hours - and that was very welcome.

Im glad you were less sick for a few hours :( The end is in sight! Your mom is the best! Being prego is so miserable for some of us-I just dont know if I can do it again so Im a little jealous your almost done-wish it was me that was almost done! YOu look cute in that pict. :) See ya soon!!
