The 4th of July is my all time favorite holiday. I love feeling patriotic, watching the parade in the comfort of a canopy, seeing the flag and floats come by, watching the kids get candy and the family BBQ after the parade. I love spending the day with our families, I love finishing the day at Mike's parents watching the Kaysville fireworks from their lawn. I love it all. I'm so thankful for this wonderful land we live in, where we are free and safe. I'm thankful to those who make that possible, and fight for the freedoms of others.

The second half of the day we played in the water at Mike's parents, by we I mean the kids. Daisy brought her slip and slide and the kids had fun being propelled down it by Grandpa Todd.
