Time Out

So - I've been thinking lately....

Grace and I are in the middle of a massive battle of wills. It's a daily battle, for lack of a better word. I'm struggling on where to draw the line with my 2 year old - "no mom. no - no - uh uh. nope." These are some of her favorite things to say whenever I ask her to do something. I swear her first response is to tell me no - or ignore me all together.

The other day Grace was put in time out several times throughout the day for telling me some form of "Nope mom, not gonna do what you want me to do." I know she is just barely two but it is driving me crazy!

So, on time number 5 in time out I had a thought come to mind. I wonder if this is how Heavenly Father feels about us(ME) sometimes? How often do we know his counsel and still say "nope, not going to do it HF. Sorry, but no." I wonder if God ever gives us time outs?

All the time I think. I think He does it when it seems like everything is going the wrong way. He is just trying to say open your eyes and do what you are supposed to do.
It was so good to talk to you. I went into the dr. that day and found out I had good ole influenza and the reason I was light headed was I was dehydrated. Then on top of everything else I had a secondary infection. Yipee!

I have put Camrie in time out a few times and on somethings it helps.

SO the shoes. I got them at payless. They are having their spring sale so there are a few shoes that are $5 some are $10 and some are regular price. I got the first pair for the $5 and then we had them check other stores for a pair because they didn't have Camrie's size. Lucky for us they were right next door in a shopko. When they look it up it prints a coupon to get you to go to the other store to buy them. So I got $3 off of the shoes that were on sale for $5. That made my second pair only $2.34.

The $5 was a great deal especially if you need shoes but the $3 off of that was even better. It was so worth taking the time to go to the other store.

Quite the twist on things, there. Thanks for the stimulating thought.
