My Dancing Daughter

Grace started dance today. I've been so nervous because she freaks out when I leave, even if it's just for a minute in nursery she has to come with me. Lately she's cried when I leave for work and I've been dreading I mean looking so forward to this! She's been excited for weeks about dancing, but this morning she said she didn't want to go anymore. On our way to class she said "Mom, Grandma Ruth called me on my cell phone during my nap today and she needs me." I don't know which is funnier, the fact she thinks she has a cell phone, or that she had a nap.

I told her that if she went I'd take her to Arctic Circle for an Ice Cream cone if she didn't cry. I took her in and took a few pictures. Her and Max danced for a minute and then her teacher Jenna called the girls over to sit. I told her I'd be back in a little while and she asked if I could come back in a few minutes. With that she sat down and didn't look back. I'm shocked!Waiting for dance to start,

Jenna with the girls - I hope she has lots of patience!

I put this picture in so you can see Grace's finger, my next post will cover that... ha! When I went to pick Grace up she wasn't anywhere in the room. Just as I started to get a little nervous the back door opened and Grace came out of the bathroom, with her leotard on backwards, I could see her boobies, I laughed and took her back in. We were the last ones and Jenna said Grace didn't cry, but she has a hard time focusing, really? my daughter has a hard time focusing?
Afterwards we went for an ice cream and another girl in Grace's class was there, her name is Nora and Grace and her played on the slides and ate their ice creams. When Nora left Grace said "I'll see you next week!"
Yeah for Grace!

How fun! I was debating on whether or not to put ISabella in dance class this year, I decided to wait until next year, but it looks so stinkin fun, I wonder if I should change my mind and do it this year?
