Recentness

I've mentioned before that Grace won't even attempt to write her name, and it's only been very recently that she's attempted to write letters at all. Last night she wanted to know how to write "Happy Holiday's Grandma", so I told her to write an H, which she did (with a heart next to it) and then I thought, hmm...perhaps... "G - R- A - C- E" Even though the last two letters are backwards, I'm so proud of her. This is the first time she's ever written her name!

Afterwards I told her she just wrote her name and she was so proud, she practiced it on the chalkboard. Way to go little peanut! Tuesday night we went to Boondocks and Max picked out a pirate set with some of the tickets. It came with an eye patch, a plastic hook and dagger. He loves it! He says "Urg!" and wore the eye patch and hook through Target. On the way home he fell asleep in the car, still clinging to his bounty.
